Fushun Special Steel Co., Ltd (referred to as “Fushun Special Steel”) was founded in 1937 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in December 2000. Fushun Special Steel is a state-level high-tech enterprise with a national enterprise technology center and post-doctoral research station.
    The controlling shareholder of Fushun Special Steel is Dongbei Special Steel Group Co., LTD. (DBSS). In 2017, under the strong support and promote by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and provincial government, DBSS was reformed into the mixed ownership, Ningbo Meishan Bonded Port Area Jincheng Shazhou Equity Investment Co., Ltd (the actual holder is Mr. Shen Wenrong- the Chairman of the board of Shagang Group) become the controlling shareholder of DBSS, and the controlling shareholder of Fushun Special Steel indirectly.

Fushun Special Steel produced the first furnaces of high speed steel, austenitic stainless steel, ultra-high strength steel, high temperature alloy and ultra-low carbon stainless steel etc. of New China; R&D and produce the products with the features of “sophisticated, rare, complex, scarce, special and new” which can lead the developing trend of China’s special steel materials and meet the demands of the country, well known as the "Cradle of China’s Special steel" for its role as the base of Special steel material R&D and producing.

Fushun Special Steel possess solid technical basis, excellent special smelting equipment, including the imported equipments as vacuum induction furnace, vacuum arc remelting furnace(VAR), electroslag furnace under protective Ar gas and so on, matched a complete set of forging, rolling, finished rolling, cold drawing, plate processing production quad, the rear finishing, heat treatment, quality testing equipment, these perfect facilities can undertake the long-term State’s  missions on new materials’ research and development. Fushun Special Steel always adheres to the development concept of “Making Special Steel More Special ". After years of development, Fushun Special Steel has formed "Three High and One Special" (high-temperature alloy, ultra-high strength steel, high-grade die steel and special stainless steel) as the core products. We have production experience on more than 5400 designations of special steel material, including high-temperature alloy, ultra-high strength steel, stainless steel, die steel, high-speed tool steel, automotive steel, high-grade machinery steel, titanium alloy, bearing steel and other key products. It has an annual capacity of 950,000 tons of steel and 770,000 tons of rolled products. The products are widely used in aviation, aerospace, nuclear power, petroleum and petrochemical, transportation, construction machinery, medical and other industries and fields, covering six continents, more than 30 countries and regions.

Fushun Special Steel has passed certification of ISO9001 system, AS9100 system, IATF16949 system, ISO14001 environmental management system, ISO10012 measurement management system and ISO45001 occupational health and safety system, Nadcap heat treatment. As of March 2022, Fushun Special Steel has been granted 59 patents, including 47 invention patents, 12 utility model patents, and more than 300 national, provincial and ministerial awards.

Fushun Special Steel earnestly fulfills its social responsibilities besides the own development, adheres to the green development concept of environmental protection, cleanliness and recycling, and has built an effluent treatment plant to achieve zero emission. The revamping projects on dust removal of smelting equipments and natural gas of various furnaces have been completed; the deep processing and comprehensive utilization of slag have been implemented, and the resource-saving and environment-friendly development strategy has been fully implemented.
