On the morning of August 4, Suzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce and Suzhou General Chamber of Commerce jointly released the list of "Top 100 Private Enterprises in Suzhou 2020". Shagang ranked the second with annual revenue of 252.1 billion yuan in 2019.

In 2019, the iron, steel and rolled products of Shagang Group reached 33.25 million tons, 41.1 million tons and 40.52 million tons, with year-on-year growth of 4.5%, 1.1% and 2.5%, respectively. 252.1 billion yuan of revenue and 17 billion yuan of profits and taxes, the company continues to rank in the forefront of its domestic counterparts in terms of profit performance.

Since 2017, Suzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce has published the List of Top 50 Private Enterprises in Suzhou for three consecutive years, and this year released the list of top 100 private enterprises for the first time.
